Job description

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an Order Management Specialist to join our team.

Order Management Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Order Lifecycle Management

  • Manage aspects of all customer orders (order entry, purchasing, invoicing, expediting, order status)
  • Reconcile customer purchase orders across multiple areas of our business, searching for quotations within our business systems, requesting revised purchase orders, ensuring payment terms are listed correctly, reviewing order details such as shipping information or other details to ensure accuracy
  • Work independently and with team members to ensure customer schedules and expectations are fulfilled
  • Learn and work in multiple business systems and applications quickly and efficiently
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal team members as required (warehouse, accounting, inside/outside sales, purchasing)
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals
  • Assist with case routing and support post order customer requests
  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities efficiently, timely, and accurately while maintaining organization with daily interruptions
  • Perform the duties as required

Customer Service:

  • Build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Apply appropriate business practices and procedures
  • Participate in customer meetings as required
  • Provide day-to-day phone support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Perform other duties as required

Order Management SpecialistEducation and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma Required or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • ERP business management software experience with a preference in Salesforce or IFS platforms
  • High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred

Order Management SpecialistAdditional Requirements:

  • Quickly embraces, learns and applies new technology and/or procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication skills and proven ability maintain high customer service
  • Strict attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Proven ability to build and support teamwork
  • Ability to work in the office/shop environment on their scheduled workdays

Order Management SpecialistPhysical Requirements:

  • Ability to work extended hours on a computer

Order Management SpecialistPay:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
  • Eligible of overtime

The final offer will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in the position.
