In addition to the distribution of genuine service parts, the MPA Accessories division develops accessories for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis - which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.
Description
The Supervisor, Supply (Order Management) will lead ateam responsible for supporting OE service, accessory, and critical vehicledown order management activities. This role ensures timely resolution ofcustomer-critical backorders through effective expediting, escalations, andalternative resolution processes. This position works closely with OE brands tocommunicate order status, ETAs, risks, and mitigation plans, ensuring alignmenton customer-critical priorities and expectations.
This position isresponsible for leading team development, improving processes and systems,monitoring performance against KPIs, and serving as the primary escalationpoint for complex customer-impacting issues. Decisions and recommendations madein this role directly impact customer service performance, freight spending,vehicle buyback and rental expenses, backorder aging, and overall companyprofitability.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide leadership, direction, analysis, and recommendations to ensure effective order management execution and customer backorder resolution
Lead, coach, and develop Order Management team members to maintain consistent performance and strong organizational intelligence
Establish clear expectations, performance objectives, and accountability aligned to Supply and customer priorities
Oversee daily review and resolution of aged backorder, critical backorders, and port shortages
Oversee the generation of daily brand facing reports to provide status and ETAs for vehicle down backorders, as well as, replying to ad-hoc inquiries for escalated backorders
Serve as the escalation point for high-risk or customer-critical backorders and expediting decisions
Ensure standardized expediting, escalation, and resolution processes are executed effectively to minimize vehicle downtime, financial exposure, and improve customer satisfaction
Develop, review, document, and maintain Order Management standard operating procedures (SOPs); collaborate with Supply leadership to audit adherence
Identify, prioritize, and lead process or system improvement initiatives impacting order fulfillment and customer experience
Act as the Order Management systems voice in the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements
Generate status updates and performance reports to communicate performance against objectives to internal stakeholders, external customers, and executive management
Ensure team members adhere to MPA policies, procedures, and SOPs
Promote a positive team environment with empowered employees who are held accountable for performance
Manage special projects and support ad-hoc requests as needed
Coordinate with OE partners, vendors, Systems, and Supply Planning to proactively mitigate customer-impacting risks

Work Schedule/Hours: 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications
Education
• Must be a high school graduate
• Bachelor's degree required
Overall Related Experience
• 3-5 years of directly related experience in inventory management
• Demonstrated ability to identify problems/issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and follow-up to ensure positive results is required
• 1 or more years directly supervising staff
5. SKILLS
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint required
• Experience with MS Access or other SQL preferred
• Experience with Data Visualization Software (Tableau or Power BI) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills required
• Excellent organizational skills (Reports and Timelines)
• Flexibility and responsiveness to changing circumstances
Employment Type - Non-Exempt, Hourly Wage
Compensation - The expected hiring range for this position is $71,896.32 - 106,406.56, depending on experience and qualifications.
