Our team supports private aircraft operations by ensuring every order is executed accurately, safely, and on time.


POSITION SUMMARY


The Private Aviation Expediter Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation, coordination, and delivery of catering orders for private aircraft and select corporate clients. This role manages daily logistics, supervises delivery drivers, and ensures operational efficiency while controlling labor and cost of goods sold (COGS).

The ideal candidate thrives in a time-sensitive aviation environment and demonstrates strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Order Expediting & Quality Control

Oversee accurate preparation and packaging of catering orders for private aircraft

Ensure all orders meet presentation, quality, and aviation service standards prior to dispatch

Communicate with culinary and front-of-house teams to manage special requests, dietary needs, and last-minute changes


Logistics & Delivery Operations


Manage daily delivery schedules and routing to FBOs, private terminals, and hangars

Coordinate with aviation staff and clients to ensure secure access and on-time delivery

Supervise delivery drivers, assign routes, monitor performance, and conduct training as needed

Team Leadership & Labor Management

Oversee staffing schedules and labor utilization to ensure proper coverage while controlling overtime

Promote a professional, accountable, and team-oriented work environment

Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members


Inventory & Cost Control


Support inventory tracking and ordering processes to reduce waste and optimize COGS

Work closely with culinary and procurement teams to forecast needs based on upcoming flight schedules

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

Ensure all drivers comply with company driving policies and applicable DOT regulations

Maintain standards for clean driving records, background checks, and drug testing
