Job description

The Customer Service & Order Entry Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for customers while accurately processing orders and ensuring exceptional service. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Answer incoming customer calls and emails professionally and promptly.
  • Enter large customer orders accurately into our business system.
  • Process order revisions, returns, credits, and customer inquiries.
  • Verify pricing, product information, and delivery details.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, purchasing, and warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain customer records and documentation.
  • Research and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Create reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Follow company procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • 2+ years of customer service, order entry, administrative support, or inside sales experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Excellent keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Ability to process large orders with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
