Job Summary
The Order Management Specialist (OMS) at Carlisle Architectural Metals (CAM) plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely entry, processing, and fulfillment of customer orders across our DRX and PAC metal brands.
Our Order Management Specialists are responsible for delivering The Carlisle Experience by getting the right product, to the right place, at the right time, in the right condition, with the right invoicing - and being a pleasure to do business with throughout.
The OMS is also the customer's primary point of contact for resolution of problems as they arise. This individual will be expected to form strong relationships with both internal partners (including Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Pricing, and Estimating) and external customers and representatives, helping to ensure seamless order execution and a positive experience from start to finish.
This role is essential in supporting CAM's commitment to the SPEQ Promise: Safety, Productivity, Expertise, and Quality, and in driving the integration of our customer experience under the One CAM model.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handles all requests for orders for an assigned territory of customers, managing customer orders from placement/entry in SAP through successful delivery and invoicing, providing accurate lead times and verifying pricing, credit memos, and RMAs.
Works with colleagues in inventory and production planning to source material for orders.
Reviews open orders in SAP on a regular basis to proactively identify and work through changes, rescheduling shipments with customers when needed.
Maintains a network of appropriate contacts within the various departments such as Inventory Management, Shipping, Purchasing, AP, and Production as well as with external vendors.
Creates a strong relationship with customers, representatives, and regional managers.
Delivers exceptional customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

Education and Experience:
Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum two years of experience in one of the following fields: order management, customer service, logistics, supply chain, or inventory management

Preferable experience at OMS I level.
SAP or other ERP experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Experience working to serve internal and/or external customers.
Working Conditions:
Office Environment
Ability to work from home as Carlisle policy allows.
Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas.
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm estimated - depends on geographic area served.
Travel Requirement:
Some travel may be required for this position up to 10-15%. Travel may be required for training, customer visits, development, seminars, etc.
