Parts Consignment Specialist (Earth City, MO)

Position Summary:

Manage and Maintain Parts Consignments for both Customer and Service support Inventories. Assist Parts Manager in daily sale of parts and maintenance of parts inventories and deliver parts to customers as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively pursue additional parts opportunities with new and existing customers. Increase overall sales to targeted customers. Establish and maintain long term relationships with assigned customer base and seek to capitalize on repeat business.
  • Assist Parts Manager in increasing turns in consignment inventories, including regular visits to consignments. Deliver parts to consignment customers. Perform monthly inventories on consignments and invoice for parts used.
  • Assist Parts Manager in replenishment of sold inventory.
  • Assist Parts Manager in maintaining inventory dollar levels.
  • Perform data entry functions pertaining to order entry and invoicing of parts orders.
  • Pack and ship outgoing parts orders.
  • Assist Parts Manager in year-end inventory. Input data pertaining to count into computer system. Prepare reports for accounting department.
  • Responsible for properly maintaining company vehicle.
  • Various additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.
  • Work with all departments and employees to insure quality of customer service.

Ideal candidate will possess:

-Experience carrying out parts consignment in a material handling, heavy equipment, automotive, or retail setting

-Associate or bachelor's degree from a technical school

-Experience working with customers in the material handling or heavy equipment industries

Minimum requirements:

-High school diploma

-1+ year experience on site customer service experience

-Ability to lift 75lbs
