Oracle Cloud Student Financial Aid (SFA/SFP) Technical Consultant Lead with Higher Education Busi...

Full-time

Re-posted 20 days ago

Job description

Our Higher Ed practice is looking for a motivated and experienced Technical Consultant Lead with Student Financial Aid (SFA and formerly Student Financial Planning/SFP) and Higher Education  Business Knowledge. Implementation experience with SFA/SFP in the Higher Education field (such as a college or university) is strongly desired and may be required. As a Lead, you will hold meetings on camera on a daily basis, and travel to client sites as needed during project milestones.

Sierra-Cedar helps Higher Education institutions - more than 350 of them - with the implementation of Oracle software.  Our business-savvy Lead Technical Consultants are responsible for implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud (SFA/SFP) and maximizing the benefit of the Oracle software in which the client has invested.

You'll have the desire to be a leader among your peers as you design and develop integrations, reports & analytics, and extensions. Integration will typically involve Oracle Integration Cloud to Oracle SFP Fusion Cloud, including making REST and SOAP, FBDI/HDL File Uploads, and extracting data using Analytics/BI Publisher reports. You'll also design and develop extensions using Visual Builder and Process Builder in Oracle Integration Cloud.

At Sierra-Cedar, a Lead Consultant has excellent oral presentation and communication skills and uses these skills to provide exceptional consulting services to clients, helping them gain the optimum benefit from their Oracle Cloud system. You may or may not lead an actual team on a project. With Sierra-Cedar's support, you will be responsible for staying current on emerging technologies and leading approaches in Higher Education. You'll lead and drive client discussions and technical workshops and, at times, interact with 3rd party vendors. Provide hands-on technical and development support for Oracle Fusion Cloud SFA/SFP modules including Java and Groovy based scripting. The selected incumbent will perform a wide variety of tasks, including recommending and architecting new technology solutions and defining configuration and extension standards, along with technical approaches for conversions, interfaces, and reports.

Our ideal Oracle Fusion Cloud SFA/SFP Lead Technical Consultant has a bachelor's degree, hands-on technical implementation experience at a university or college, strong knowledge of Oracle products used by Higher Education institutions, and a desire to become part of a Higher Education-focused team within Sierra-Cedar.  Oracle Fusion Cloud certification is a huge plus!

This position requires approximately 20% travel to client sites (nationwide) as well as remote work from your home office within the United States only - International locations will not be considered. This full-time role may include working occasional nights and weekends to support project milestones.

What we offer:

         Competitive Salary

         Comprehensive benefits package

         Opportunities for growth and development

A collaborative and engaging work environment
