Overview

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Oracle WAM Software Developer Lead, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base in Arnold, TN. The Oracle WAM Software Developer Lead will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Open to internal candidates. The selected candidate for this requisition may be required to occasionally (e.g., application upgrades) work outside normal business hours.

Job Summary

The Oracle WAM Software Developer Lead plays a key leadership role within the business systems team, serving as the technical expert for Oracle Work and Asset Management (WAM). This individual will lead the design, development, and administration of the Oracle WAM application and associated systems. The ideal candidate is a seasoned developer and administrator with extensive experience in the Oracle ecosystem, capable of creating robust solutions, leading complex technical projects, and mentoring team members.

Job Duties:

  • Administer the Oracle WAM and Oracle Analytics Publisher applications.
  • Lead the development of custom scripts, forms, and reports using XPath, Oracle Forms, and PL/SQL within the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
  • Design, create, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to interface with applications such as Oracle BI and PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Develop and manage REST APIs for data integration and loading into Oracle WAM.
  • Architect and execute complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to other developers on the team.
  • Maintain system security and manage user access and privileges within Oracle applications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and deliver effective technology solutions.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • L10: Minimum of 11 years of experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
  • L11: Minimum of 14 years of experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports, Informatica, TOAD, and SQL Developer.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and lead technical projects.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Extensive experience as an Oracle WAM administrator and developer.
  • Proven expertise in PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, functions, triggers).
  • Experience with Oracle BI / Oracle Analytics Publisher development and administration.
  • Familiarity with Linux server administration.
  • Experience with XPath and the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
