Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, monitor, and sustain the Ab Initio platform and associated data integration infrastructure supporting PeopleSoft HCM and connected enterprise systems in a secure, on-premises environment.

  • Install, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot Ab Initio components, supporting servers, and Oracle-based platform dependencies across development, test, and production environments.

  • Perform core Ab Initio administrative functions, including:

  • Environment setup

  • Job execution and scheduling coordination

  • Metadata and repository support

  • File handling and data movement

  • Platform access administration

  • Develop and maintain shell scripts, automation utilities, runbooks, and SOPs to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational consistency.

  • Monitor system health, ETL job performance, batch processing, logs, interfaces, and capacity; investigate incidents and coordinate timely resolution.

  • Support change control processes, release readiness, audit activities, and environment promotions in compliance with security and operational requirements.

  • Collaborate with application, database, middleware, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stable operations.

  • Participate in system hardening, vulnerability remediation, contingency planning, backup and recovery, and sustainment activities in highly secure environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).

  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, ETL platform support, or related roles.

  • Hands-on experience with on-premises Oracle and Solaris/UNIX environments.

  • Strong scripting and automation skills for operational and administrative support.

  • Experience with ETL processes, data movement, batch processing, scheduling, and file transfer mechanisms.

  • Must be aU.S. Citizenwith an activeSecret security clearanceor the ability to obtain one.

  • Experience working in secure federal or DoD environments is preferred.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity withPeopleSoft HCMarchitecture, interfaces, batch processing, and Oracle ecosystem integrations.

  • Experience supporting Ab Initio platform capabilities in enterprise environments, including job execution, scheduling, metadata/repository management, and production sustainment.

  • Knowledge of operational best practices, including runbooks, SOPs, change management, backup and recovery, incident and problem management.

  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams supporting mission-critical systems.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $76,700 - $142,500.
