Job Title: Senior Oracle HCM Technical Developer (Coding Focused)
Location: Newark, NJ
Job type: Hybrid 3 days onsite

Important Note: This is a hands-on coding role (working "under the hood").
We are NOT looking for functional consultants who have done some coding. Previous candidates failed technical screens.
Quick Summary (The Essentials)
  • Role: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant (Interfaces, Reports, Integrations)
  • Project: New Oracle HCM implementation
  • Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (No exceptions). Local candidates preferred. Non-local must relocate from Day 1.
  • Pre-screening: Must pass a technical Teams call with CAI.
  • No job boards: Vendors cannot advertise this role on job boards.

Key Expectations (What You Will Do)
  • Build integrations (inbound/outbound) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Develop OTBI and BIP reports to meet business needs
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for interfaces, reports, data conversions, and extensions
  • Design and document RICEW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows)
  • Lead on-premise to Oracle Fusion HCM data conversions using HDL (HCM Data Loader)
  • Customize HCM application pages using sandboxes (Redwood Pages, OGL a plus)
  • Support quarterly updates and help business teams adopt new features
  • Keep implementation partners in check and ensure they deliver correctly
  • Train and mentor the team and end-users
  • Support cutover, post-go-live, and troubleshoot technical issues

Top Requirements (What You Must Have)
  • Systems Analyst / Developer experience, with at least 3 years specifically on Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Benefits, and Retirement)
  • Full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations (at least 2 projects covering Core HR, Payroll, Oracle TA, TM, Benefits & Retirement)
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • OTBI and BIP reporting
  • SQL Programming
  • Training and mentoring teams
  • Python
