We are seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud Subject Matter Expert to lead the strategic direction, architecture, and optimization an enterprise Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem for a unicorn company based in the Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role goes beyond systems analysisโ€”you will serve as the principal technical authority for Oracle Fusion Financials, Supply Chain Management, Product Management, Procurement, and Project Portfolio Management modules.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategic Leadership & Architecture


  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert and technical authority for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications across Financials, SCM, Procurement, Product Management, and PPM modules
  • Define and own the Oracle Fusion technology roadmap, aligning system capabilities with long-term business strategy and digital transformation initiatives
  • Lead architectural design decisions for enterprise-wide Oracle Fusion implementations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Evaluate emerging Oracle Cloud features and recommend adoption strategies to drive competitive advantage
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate business objectives into scalable, innovative Oracle Fusion solutions
  • Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for Oracle Fusion configuration, customization, and integration


Advanced Configuration & Technical Expertise


  • Design and implement sophisticated Oracle Fusion configurations across multiple modules, ensuring alignment with complex business requirements
  • Architect and optimize subledger accounting rules, custom workflows, approval hierarchies, and advanced financial close processes
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, proactively identifying and resolving critical issues to meet aggressive timelines
  • Create advanced custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, and Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Design and maintain data models, reporting hierarchies, and KPI frameworks that enable executive decision-making
  • Develop complex formulas, validations, and business rules to automate processes and enforce data integrity
  • Optimize system performance through advanced configuration techniques, index management, and query optimization


Integration & API Management


  • Architect and oversee enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP services, and middleware platforms
  • Design integration patterns for third-party systems including construction management, HRIS, payroll, treasury, banking, and CRM platforms
  • Lead integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data exchange
  • Establish integration standards, error handling protocols, and monitoring frameworks
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to ensure seamless end-to-end system connectivity


Implementation & Change Management


  • Lead full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare support
  • Drive fit-gap analysis, design workshops, and requirements validation sessions with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Develop comprehensive functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and cutover plans
  • Manage Oracle quarterly updates and patches, conducting impact assessments and regression testing
  • Champion change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new functionality and process improvements
  • Collaborate with Oracle Support and product teams to resolve complex technical issues and influence product roadmap

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor and develop junior systems analysts, functional consultants, and business analysts

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required

  • Multiple Oracle Cloud certifications required (e.g., Oracle Cloud Financials, Procurement Cloud, PPM Cloud, Integration Cloud)

Experience

  • 8-10+ years of hands-on experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications in enterprise environments
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior or lead role with demonstrated expertise across multiple Oracle Fusion modules
  • Proven track record leading at least 3+ full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations from inception to post-production support
  • Deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expense Management)
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM, Procurement, Product Management, and Project Portfolio Management modules
  • Expert-level proficiency creating advanced reports and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, SmartView, and Oracle Analytics Cloud
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP services, and integration design patterns

  • Advanced understanding of financial processes including chart of accounts design, period close, intercompany accounting, project costing, procurement-to-pay, and supply chain execution
