About the role
We are seeking a motivated Staff Consultant to support an Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation and modernization projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in HCM systems, project administration, and federal consulting. The Staff Consultant will assist with the development and configuration of HCM solutions, support project management activities, and contribute to the creation and maintenance of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
What you'll do
  • Assist in the configuration and implementation of HCM solutions to support client business requirements.
  • Support functional and technical project activities, including requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Participate in system configuration, validation, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including CDRLs, status reports, meeting minutes, and technical documentation.
  • Support project administration activities such as schedule tracking, action item management, risk tracking, and deliverable coordination.
  • Assist with the development and execution of test plans, test scripts, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and project reviews.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants, technical teams, and project managers to support successful project delivery.
  • Support data validation, quality assurance, and post-deployment activities.
  • Maintain project artifacts and documentation repositories in accordance with organizational and contract requirements.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a functional, technical, business systems, or project support role.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise software applications, business processes, or Human Capital Management (HCM) systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
