Job Description

Datavail is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud applications/Supply Chain Functional Consultant to support a managed services engagement focused on Oracle cloud SCM-related processes. This role will participate in discovery sessions, assess current-state processes and system usage, as well as contribute to findings and recommendations that inform next steps and future-state options. Projects will also factor into daily work.

The consultant will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand how Oracle Cloud SCM is used in practice, identify opportunities, optimization, as well as modernization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in discovery workshops and working sessions with client stakeholders
  • Review current-state Oracle Cloud SCM processes related to inventory and planning
  • Assess inventory costing and planning practices, including manual workarounds and data dependencies
  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to documented findings, recommendations, and road map discussions
  • Provide input into executive-level summaries or readouts as needed and present those findings to client executives
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong client-facing communication skills, and experience in analyzing business processes.
  • Strong functional experience with Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules
  • Hands-on knowledge of Supply chain, Inventory Costing and Inventory Planning concepts
  • Understanding of costing methods, inventory flows, and valuation considerations
  • Experience working with item master data and planning-related attributes
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Prior experience in advisory, assessment, and solution design engagements.
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting or participating in Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud migration initiatives
