About this position: Sr. Financial Management Subject Matter Expert
Location - Wright Patt AFB, OH

Wage/Salary Range: $130k - $160k

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for documenting DAF WCF desired financial processes and accounting/budgeting/disbursing capabilities for System Integrator (SI) development.
  • Ability to develop prototype DAF WCF accounting capability via Oracle Federal Financials software configuration.
  • Develop plans and conduct life cycle test of Oracle Federal Financials software capability against documented requirements.
  • Ensure configuration/deployment of software capability achieves audit compliance and adheres to quality and security standards.
  • Understand entire technical landscape and integrate new applications accordingly within the USAF operational environment.
  • Test SI developed software capability against documented requirements. Oracle cMRO, Projects, and Financials software application modules experience is critical.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications
  • Education Requirements: Bachelors college degree is required
  • Level of Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years of Oracle Production Support/solution development. Oracle Process Definition.
  • 5+ years of Oracle Federal Financials, cMRO, and/or Project configuration implementation experience
  • Expertise in financial management including; general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and reporting
  • 5+ years of software life cycle testing experience
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must have or be able to attain a NAC or SECRET security clearance

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work and collaborate in group environments
  • Thorough understanding of Oracle E-Business Financial Suite, Oracle R12, Oracle 11i: Procure to Pay, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory, cash management and Sub-Ledger Accounting
  • Experience in designing secure applications and awareness of security implications from design to implementation phase of project
  • Experience in DAF WCF financial accounting processes and supporting systems
  • High initiative, self-motivation and drive to exceed expectations
  • Ability to design and implement end-to-end enterprise reporting and transactional database systems, including data structures, stored procedures, and error handling
  • Previous experience and full understanding of full life cycle development and testing

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with or without prior notice. Travel (local and continental United States) may be required at the determination of the USAF.
Additional Qualifying Factors
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
