This role is accountable for establishing a cohesive enterprise solution architecture that integrates Oracle and Workday platforms, ensures compliance, and drives innovation. The architect will engage with executive leadership, business units, and IT stakeholders to deliver a future-proof, integrated ERP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Solution Architecture

  • Define and maintain the enterprise-wide ERP and SCM solution blueprint, integrating Oracle SCM/ERP.

  • Establish a multi-year transformation roadmap that leverages Oracle Financials and SCM for supply chain processes.

  • Ensure solution design supports global process harmonization, scalability, and compliance.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on ERP strategy, technology adoption, and transformation governance.

  • Evaluate quarterly ERP product releases and emerging technologies (AI/ML, predictive analytics, IoT, blockchain) for enterprise applicability.

Governance & Standards

  • Define and enforce governance frameworks for solution design, integrations, data management, and security.

  • Drive standardization across ERP platforms to minimize customization.

  • Oversee architecture for integrations between Oracle SCM, Workday HCM/Finance, and third-party applications.

  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, labor laws).

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to track ERP and SCM performance.

Program & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Provide strategic oversight across multiple transformation programs (Oracle ERP/SCM transformation and Workday integration & transition).

  • Lead executive workshops to align business strategy with system capabilities.

  • Act as a decision-making authority on solution design across Oracle and Workday platforms.

  • Collaborate with system integrators, vendors, and business leaders to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.

  • Manage cross-platform alignment to ensure end-to-end process continuity (e.g., hire-to-retire, source-to-pay, order-to-cash).

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Champion digital initiatives such as connected supply chain, AI-driven workforce planning, predictive analytics in finance, and automation.

  • Identify opportunities for cross-platform synergies between Oracle and Workday.

  • Build long-term vendor partnerships with Oracle and Workday to influence product direction.

  • Drive business adoption and change management for ERP and SCM/Finance transformations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Strategic & Technical Expertise

  • Deep expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud & SCM Cloud (Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics).

  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

  • Knowledge of Workday Finance (Financial Accounting, Procurement, Projects, Expenses) is a plus.

  • Proven ability to design integrated enterprise architectures across Oracle, Workday, and third-party applications.

  • Broad understanding of integration technologies (Oracle OIC, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms).

  • Knowledge of data governance, security models, and role-based access across both Oracle and Workday.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Experience shaping enterprise-wide ERP strategy across multiple geographies.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage C-level executives.

  • Strong governance, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to manage multi-vendor, multi-stream global programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of ERP/HCM/SCM experience in large enterprises.

  • 10+ years of combined Oracle ERP/SCM and Workday HCM/Finance experience is a plus.
