Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – Weekly Once)

Duration: Long term contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail RMS Technical Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in Oracle Retail applications, data migration, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Oracle RMS, Oracle APEX, Oracle RDS, and related Oracle Retail modules, along with proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders, offshore teams, and cross‑functional project groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oracle APEX Development — Design, develop, and enhance complex extensions and custom applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle RDS.
  • Data Migration Leadership — Lead end‑to‑end data conversion activities, including mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration of high‑volume data from on‑premise systems to SaaS platforms.
  • Reporting Track Ownership — Represent and drive the Reporting track, ensuring alignment with client requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Oracle Retail Functional Expertise — Provide strong functional and technical support across Oracle Retail modules such as:
    • Invoice Matching (IM)
    • Stock Ledger (RSL)
    • Sales Audit (ReSA)
  • Client Communication — Maintain excellent communication with business users, SMEs, and leadership teams to gather requirements and provide status updates.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Act as a liaison between client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams to ensure smooth coordination and issue resolution.
  • Technical Troubleshooting — Analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues across RMS integrations, extensions, and data flows.
  • Documentation & Standards — Prepare technical design documents, test scripts, and deployment guides following industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in Oracle Retail RMS technical development.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, APEX, RDS, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Experience with data conversion, ETL processes, and large‑scale data migration.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle Retail functional flows (IM, RSL, ReSA).
  • Ability to work in agile and onsite–offshore delivery models.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle Retail Cloud (SaaS) implementations.
  • Knowledge of RIB, RMS integration patterns, and Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS).
  • Exposure to BI reporting tools and data warehousing concepts.
  • Retail domain experience with large enterprise clients.
