Job description

Job Summary:
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle ERP Developer to lead the technical design, development, implementation, and support of their Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role involves bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver robust enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:
• System Development & Customization: Design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions within the Oracle ERP ecosystem (Oracle Fusion Cloud / Oracle E-Business Suite R12).
• Integrations & Architecture: Build and maintain complex integrations between Oracle ERP and third-party external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.
• Reporting & Analytics: Design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), and SQL.
• Data Migration & Extensions: Lead data conversion activities and develop system extensions, forms, and workflows utilizing tools like Oracle ADF, VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service), and APEX.
• Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical point of contact for ERP projects. Review code, establish best practices, and mentor junior and mid-level technical staff.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and execute proactive performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex production issues, identifying root causes and deploying permanent fixes.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including technical design documents (MD.070/DS.140), migration scripts, and architecture diagrams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7+ years of hands-on technical experience developing and supporting Oracle ERP applications (Oracle Cloud ERP/Fusion or EBS R12).
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Java.
• Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture.
• Extensive experience with reporting tools: BI Publisher, OTBI, and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware (SOA, ICS).
• Familiarity with Oracle's technical architecture, including FBDI (File-Based Data Import), HDL (HCM Data Loader), and ADFdi.
• Strong understanding of core business processes across Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA), Supply Chain (SCM), or Human Capital Management (HCM).
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred:
• Active Oracle Cloud Certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration Specialist, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect).
• Experience transitioning from Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Proficiency with Oracle APEX and Visual Builder (VBCS).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and Change Management protocols.
