Job description

Job Title: Senior Operational Oracle DBA
Duration: Long Term
Location: Austin, TX(Remote)
Additional job details and special considerations
We are seeking a Senior Operational Oracle DBA to ensure the stability, patching, and scalability of critical database environments that support multiple concurrent ERP implementations and upgrades.
The primary responsibility is to design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai, and to maintain multiple environments that support ETL activities. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance, security vulnerability compliance, and performance tuning.
Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience Infrastructure management with Oracle 19c version or higher.
  • 8+ years of experience Grid infrastructure (ASM, Clusterware).
  • 8+ years of experience High-availability (GoldenGate, Active Data Guard).
  • 8+ years of experience Advanced scripting (Linux, SQL).

Preferred Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
  • 2+ years of experience working with a hosting vendor.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft products.
