Job Description – Senior Oracle EBS Technical Developer / Oracle EBS Technical Consultant

Memphis, TN (Onsite)

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle EBS Technical Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12.x, PL/SQL development, RICE components, integrations, Oracle Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Oracle Projects modules.

The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, developing customizations, supporting production systems, and delivering scalable Oracle EBS solutions across Finance, Order Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Project Accounting modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, customize, and support Oracle EBS R12 applications including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (RICE), and custom database solutions.
  • Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, analytical SQL queries, and database utilities.
  • Design and develop inbound and outbound interfaces using Oracle EBS Open Interfaces, Public APIs, interface tables, and custom PL/SQL programs.
  • Perform Oracle EBS module development and support for:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payables (AP)
    • Accounts Receivables (AR)
    • Purchasing (PO)
    • Order Management (OM)
    • Inventory (INV)
    • Shipping (WSH)
    • Cash Management (CE)
    • Oracle Projects (PA/PB/PC)
    • Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, OPM)
  • Develop and customize Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher/BI Publisher reports, workflows, and OAF applications.
  • Perform Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development including new page creation, extensions, personalization, controllers, regions, LOVs, and advanced table components.
  • Develop integrations between Oracle EBS and external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), middleware platforms, web services, APIs, and file-based interfaces.
  • Analyze functional requirements and prepare technical design documents following Oracle AIM methodology including MD050, MD070, TE020, and conversion documents.
  • Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and offshore teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Perform Oracle EBS customization, debugging, patch impact analysis, and production issue resolution.
  • Develop UNIX shell scripts for concurrent processing, file handling, automated jobs, and reporting solutions.
  • Configure and support AOL components including concurrent programs, request sets, value sets, flexfields, responsibilities, and profile options.
  • Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning using Explain Plan, TKPROF, SQL Trace, indexing strategies, partitioning, hints, bulk collect, and optimization techniques.
  • Support Oracle EBS upgrades, migrations, data conversions, and post-production stabilization activities.
  • Work with Oracle Support for Service Requests (SRs), patches, and technical troubleshooting.
