Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Oracle CPQ Developer and Architect to own the technical architecture and evolution of our enterprise-grade CPQ platform. This role demands deep expertise in Oracle CPQ Redwood UI, Commerce process design, BML scripting, and complex integrations with CRM, ERP, and ETO systems. You will be responsible for sustaining a secure, scalable, and high-performing CPQ environment while driving innovation and usability through Redwood UX principles.
As the subject matter expert, you will lead design and development decisions across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, user-centric solutions that support quoting, configuration, pricing, and order management processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and extend Oracle CPQ solutions using Redwood UX to deliver modern, intuitive, and responsive user experiences.
  • Lead the design and development of commerce flows, including approval routing, pricing logic, and document generation.
  • Maintain and enhance complex configurators for PTO, ATO, and ETO products, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Govern CPQ instance management, code migration, and CI/CD pipelines to support concurrent development and release cycles.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Order Management, and Pricing teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
  • Integrate Oracle CPQ with Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle EBS Order Management, PD/PIM, and custom applications using REST, SOAP, and XSLT.
  • Analyze and reimplement legacy JavaScript customizations using Redwood-native features, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • Embed external applications into CPQ commerce flows using iFrames and Redwood layout components.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, proactively addressing issues related to latency, stuck threads, and deployment bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications
  • 6 plus years of experience with Oracle CPQ (BigMachines), including multiple full-cycle implementations.
  • Hands-on expertise in Redwood UI migration, layout compatibility analysis, and reengineering of legacy UI logic.
  • Strong command of BML, BMQL, and CPQ admin tools (product models, commerce rules, data tables, file manager, logs, security).
  • Proven experience integrating CPQ with CRM and ERP systems, especially Oracle EBS and Sales Cloud.
  • Deep understanding of the Quote-to-Cash process, including pricing, approvals, and order orchestration.
  • Experience with DataCube, contract renewals, and aftermarket sales quoting.
  • Familiarity with SIOP processes and dependencies on opportunity, quote, and order data.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle CPQ Implementation Specialist certification.
  • Experience with Redwood UI layout migration tools and guided selling enhancements.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning techniques (e.g., BMQL optimization, deployment scheduling, API load reduction).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
