Job Description

BlueStar is seeking an energetic and motivated Inside Sales Assistant to support our multi-state West Coast Territory based in Orange County, California. This position plays a key role in supporting the sales team and delivering exceptional service to our reseller partners.

Essential responsibilities include

  • Process customer orders, quotes, and order tracking requests accurately and efficiently
  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide timely support
  • Communicate product information and solutions to customers in a clear and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal departments including sales, credit, billing, order entry, returns, technical services, purchasing, and marketing
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies related to Auto ID scanning, POS hardware, digital signage, and mobility computing
  • Support reseller partners with product selection and general sales assistance
  • Utilize Oracle Order Management and CRM systems to manage customer accounts and transactions

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in distribution and/or channel sales environments preferred
  • Experience within the Auto ID scanning, POS, digital signage, or mobility marketplace is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with products from Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic, Posiflex, Elo, Samsung, Sharp, Philips, HP, Epson, Star, and Citizen is a plus
  • Oracle Order Management and CRM experience preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications
