Details:
Oracle HCM & EBS Functional Lead/Architect
Duration : Full Time / Direct Hire
Location: Remote ( Occasional travel to Houston TX OR Oklahoma city OK)

Brief Description:
The Business Solutions Manager partners with management and key users to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions that leverage technology to meet the goals of the business. This position assists in improving business processes that support critical business strategies by managing the development and implementation of new
solutions and/or the enhancement and maintenance of existing business application systems and processes.
The successful candidate will: set high standards of performance for themselves and others; be professional in written, verbal, and personal actions in any situation; seek new knowledge and experiences; have an analytical
mindset that can utilize factual data to develop creative and business-oriented solutions; be self- aware and adjust accordingly to different environments and audiences.
This role performs under general direction of the Director of IT Management.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience using and/or implementing Oracle R12.2 Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and Payroll modules
  • Experience using and/or implementing Oracle Cloud HCM
  • Experience managing Oracle Cloud HCM quarterly patch cycles
  • Experience in integration between Oracle Cloud HCM and Oracle R12.2
  • Experience in integrations between Oracle Cloud HCM and non-Oracle applications such as ModernHire and Known2U
  • Ability to document user business requirements, develop technical specifications, and configure applications
  • Experience using Oracle tools and technology with firm understanding of Oracle table structure
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle methodology
  • Understanding of project management methodology and tools
  • Strong customer service mindset with ability to appropriately balance risk with service delivery expectations
  • Strong problem-solving skills - applicant must be able to determine the causes of complex problems and recommend practical and effective solutions
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct in-person and virtual meetings, working sessions, and training
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience configuring, implementing, upgrading and/or using Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle eBusiness applications, R12, specifically those associated with the HCM, OTL and Payroll
  • Managed team of internal and outsourced resources

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading or actively supporting HCM events such as Performance Appraisal Cycles, Open Enrollment, and/or Compensation cycles
Detailed Description:
  • Function as solutions architect for applications and solutions
  • Responsible for evaluating the organization's business needs and determining how IT can support those needs with technology solutions and processes
  • Actively manage quarterly patch cycles
  • Engage with Managed Services maintain HCM applications
  • Lead design workshops with key users documenting their business requirements and developing solutions to address their needs within the overall corporate strategy
  • Continually reassess existing business process and systems and consider alternative solutions
  • Keep abreast of best practices and recommend changes when appropriate to the key business users
  • Develop both high level and detailed business requirement documentation to support application upgrades, enhancement, and add-on functionality
  • Provide support for current business applications as required by assisting users and production support personnel in resolving issues in system programs and processes
  • Work with other appropriate personnel to ensure a coherent and unified approach to the planning,development, and delivery of technology solutions
  • Develop testing process and specific test cases for new applications or processes to ensure that business requirements are met
  • Educate business partners on roles, responsibilities, processes, and deliverables required to support the effective delivery of new technology solutions
  • Effectively communicate with company leadership across business functions
  • Adhere to and promote company core values
  • Other duties as assigned
