Job description

Job Summary

The Oracle HCM & Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) Functional Analyst serves as a functional consultant and trusted advisor for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC). This role partners with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and business stakeholders to understand business needs, provide functional guidance, analyze requirements, recommend best practices, support implementations and enhancements, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure Oracle HCM solutions align with organizational objectives. This position focuses on consultation, business analysis, and solution support rather than system configuration.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as the primary functional consultant for Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).

· Partner with HR, Recruiting, Payroll, and business leaders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

· Provide expert guidance on Oracle HCM and ORC capabilities, best practices, and business process improvements.

· Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams and configuration specialists.

· Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder meetings to identify business needs and recommend solutions.

· Analyze existing HR and recruiting processes and identify opportunities for optimization.

· Support Oracle Cloud implementation projects, quarterly updates, enhancements, and new feature adoption.

· Perform impact analysis for Oracle quarterly releases and advise stakeholders on business impacts.

· Collaborate with configuration teams, developers, integration teams, and Oracle Support to resolve functional issues.

· Review functional designs, test plans, and solution documentation to ensure business requirements are met.

· Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate business scenarios, and support issue resolution.

· Develop and maintain functional documentation, business process flows, requirements documents, and training materials.

· Provide production support by analyzing reported issues, identifying root causes, and recommending appropriate solutions.

· Assist in change management activities, including end-user communication, training, and adoption strategies.

· Stay current on Oracle Cloud HCM and ORC enhancements, new functionality, and industry best practices.

· Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 3–7+ years of experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud.

· Hands-on functional knowledge of Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).

· Strong understanding of HR business processes and recruiting lifecycle management.

· Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.

· Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management.

· Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.

· Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
