The Role

The Project Implementation Lead is an expert-level practitioner who drives the successful delivery of large-scale and strategically significant Versaterm implementation projects. Working with a high degree of autonomy, this role provides project leadership across complex, multi-client or multi-phase engagements, applies state-of-the-art knowledge of public safety technology and implementation practices, and contributes meaningfully to Versaterm's delivery strategy. The role may provide informal leadership within the implementation group.

What You Do
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of complex, large-scale, or high-priority Versaterm implementation projects end to end.
  • Define implementation approaches, delivery frameworks, and client engagement strategies for advanced or non-standard deployments.
  • Serve as the senior client relationship owner for flagship implementations, building executive-level partnerships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on public safety software configuration, workflow design, and system integration.
  • Identify and resolve the most complex implementation challenges, drawing on advanced technical and functional expertise.
  • Drive the development of implementation standards, tools, and methodologies that elevate team-wide delivery quality.
  • Mentor and coach senior and intermediate implementation staff, sharing knowledge and elevating team capabilities.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and executive leadership on strategic pre-sales pursuits, solution design, and organizational planning.
  • Contribute to cross-functional strategy discussions and represent implementation expertise in organizational forums.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support team objectives and overall organizational priorities.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in software implementation, including leadership of advanced, enterprise-scale, or multi-phase projects.
  • Experience with Police Records Management Systems (RMS), especially with Versaterm RMS is strongly preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the full implementation lifecycle, system configuration, and public safety or government technology environments.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, high-stakes delivery environments and influence outcomes across functions.
  • Exceptional communication, executive stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Track record of driving process improvement, methodology innovation, or delivery excellence initiatives.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as required by project needs.
