Job description

Job Title: Senior Oracle WebLogic & Fusion Middleware Administrator

Location: Atlanta, GA (Day 1 Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and technically strong Senior Oracle WebLogic and Fusion Middleware Administrator to join our team in Atlanta. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Database, and Oracle Forms 12c within the Oracle Fusion Middleware stack. The ideal candidate will play a key role in environment setup, form deployments, and collaborate closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to support CI/CD automation and middleware installations across all environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Database administration.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Forms 12c and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  • Proven experience in installing and configuring Fusion Middleware across various environments with DR requirements.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Forms compilation and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in using the Standalone Form Builder for development and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Database, connection pooling mechanisms, and Oracle Forms metadata.
  • Experience in collaborating with DevOps teams to build CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Forms applications.
  • Ability to create and share installation and environment setup documentation with infrastructure teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Oracle Forms 6i to 12c migration projects.
  • Familiarity with automated deployment tools like gitlab and scripting within the Oracle Middleware context.
  • Oracle certifications (OCP, OCA, etc.) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Database environments.
  • Manage and support Oracle Forms 12c deployments in Oracle Fusion Middleware.
  • Install and configure Oracle Fusion Middleware in Dev, QA, UAT, and PROD environments, including Disaster Recovery planning and execution for PROD.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to support and help build CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Forms applications.
  • Provide detailed installation and configuration procedures for Oracle Fusion Middleware (specific to Oracle Forms 12c) to the infrastructure team and guide them in setting up environments.
  • Compile, deploy, troubleshoot, and manage Oracle Forms applications using the Standalone Form Builder and deployment utilities.
  • Ensure optimal database connection pooling and manage Oracle Forms–related metadata configurations.
  • Maintain technical documentation related to deployment, environment setup, and configuration baselines.
  • Support form migration efforts and validate post-deployment configurations.
