Job description

Job Title: Oracle Fusion Cloud Service Logistics / Depot Repair Functional Consultant

•  Work Location: Remote

•  Client Location: Boston, MA (need to travel we can pay expenses) 

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Service Logistics / Depot Repair Functional Consultant to join our team. This is a purely functional role focused on optimizing Oracle Fusion Service Cloud modules to streamline depot repair processes, returns management, preventive maintenance, spare parts handling, and service logistics. The consultant will play a key role in business process analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and end-user enablement.

Key Responsibilities

•  Gather and analyze business requirements for Depot Repair, Return Material Authorization (RMA), warranty management, spare parts management, subscriptions, returns management, and end-to-end service processes.

•  Configure Oracle Fusion Service Logistics and Depot Repair modules, including repair workflows, parts ordering, reservations and fulfillment, charges, estimates, and pricing & billing for service orders.

•  Design and implement end-to-end repair lifecycles (e.g., return receipt, repair execution, shipping, billing, and invoicing).

•  Set up repair types, status flows, billing rules, warranty entitlements, and related configurations.

•  Collaborate with integrated Fusion modules, including Order Management (OM), Inventory, Costing, Service Contracts, Installed Base, Field Service, and Subscriptions.

•  Prepare functional documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), setup guides, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts.

•  Support System Integration Testing (SIT), UAT, go-live activities, post-production hypercare, and troubleshooting of issues.

•  Deliver end-user training sessions and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.

•  Coordinate with technical and QA teams on custom reports, extensions, integrations, testing, and issue resolution.

•  Provide expertise in related areas such as Oracle Service Cloud, Subscription Management, Order Management, Pricing, Field Service (including Oracle Field Service Cloud - OFSC), and Oracle CX/CRM modules, with a focus on service request management and work order management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

•  10+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with at least 4+ years focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud Service Logistics / Depot Repair.

•  Proven track record in full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Service and SCM modules, particularly Depot Repair, Service Logistics, returns management, spare parts, and subscriptions.

•  Strong functional knowledge of depot repair processes, including RMA creation, repair work orders, parts management and fulfillment, charges/estimates, and integration with SCM (e.g., Inventory, OM, Costing).

•  Hands-on configuration experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Service, including Service Requests, Work Orders, Parts Reservation & Fulfillment, Depot Repair, and Pricing & Billing for Service Orders.

•  Familiarity with integrations across Oracle Fusion modules: Service Contracts, Installed Base, Order Management, Inventory, Costing, Pricing, Field Service, and Subscriptions.

•  Experience in Oracle Service Cloud, Subscription Management, Preventive Maintenance , Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC), and Oracle CX/CRM is highly desirable.

•  Excellent requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, testing, and troubleshooting skills.

•  Strong documentation and communication abilities, with experience in training and knowledge transfer.

•  Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional and QA teams.
