Project Overview
This role supports a large, global manufacturing organization executing a multi-year ERP optimization and stabilization initiative. The program focuses on improving finance processes, system performance, and integrations across plants and corporate functions while aligning with the longer-term enterprise ERP strategy. This is a live production environment, not a greenfield implementation.

Role Purpose
Provide Oracle Finance functional expertise to support optimization, stabilization, and enhancement of existing Oracle financial systems. The consultant will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT, and parallel SAP teams to ensure accurate financial processing, clean integrations, and scalable finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Oracle Finance functional lead supporting core finance processes

  • Gather, validate, and translate business requirements into functional system solutions

  • Configure and optimize Oracle Finance modules to support manufacturing operations

  • Support integrations between Oracle Finance and other enterprise systems (including SAP)

  • Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes

  • Troubleshoot and resolve finance-related system issues impacting business operations

  • Support testing cycles including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing

  • Collaborate with data and conversion teams to ensure financial data accuracy and consistency

  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support for end users as needed

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Finance in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Deep understanding of core finance processes (GL, AP, AR, Costing, Fixed Assets)

  • Experience supporting live production ERP environments

  • Proven ability to work directly with business and plant stakeholders
