Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPCM Consultant to support design, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management solutions. This role will focus on building and maintaining profitability models, allocation rules, driver-based calculations, reporting structures, and financial analysis capabilities within Oracle EPCM.
The consultant will work with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams to understand business allocation requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle EPCM solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management Cloud, allocation models, calculation rules, financial reporting, and EPM Cloud integrations.
Key Responsibilities
•    Lead design, configuration, and support of Oracle EPCM Cloud solutions.
•    Build and maintain profitability and cost allocation models.
•    Configure allocation rules, rule sets, calculation logic, drivers, POVs, dimensions, and model structures.
•    Work with Finance and FP&A teams to gather business requirements for cost allocation, profitability analysis, and management reporting.
•    Support data integration between EPCM and source systems such as Oracle ERP Cloud, EPM Planning, FCCS, Essbase, or data warehouses.
•    Develop and validate allocation results, calculation outputs, and financial reports.
•    Support month-end and quarter-end profitability processing activities.
•    Troubleshoot calculation errors, data load issues, performance concerns, and reporting discrepancies.
•    Assist with testing, UAT, deployment, documentation, and production support.
•    Recommend best practices for model optimization, automation, and process improvement.
•    Travel to client site approximately once every 3 months for key workshops, planning sessions, or milestone activities.
Required Skills
•    8+ years of experience in Oracle EPM / Hyperion applications.
•    5+ years of experience with profitability, cost allocation, or management reporting solutions.
•    Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPCM / PCMCS / Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management Cloud.
•    Experience designing allocation models, calculation rules, rule sets, drivers, and profitability reporting.
•    Strong understanding of financial planning, cost allocation, profitability analysis, management reporting, and accounting concepts.
•    Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud components such as Planning, FCCS, Essbase, Data Integration, Smart View, and Financial Reporting.
•    Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into EPCM design and configuration.
•    Strong data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with Finance and IT stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
•    Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP financials.
•    Knowledge of EPM Automate, REST APIs, Groovy, or automation scripts.
•    Experience migrating from Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management or PCMCS to EPCM.
•    Experience supporting financial transformation or enterprise performance management projects.
