Job description

Title: Oracle HCM Techno/Functional Specialist

Location: downtown Houston

Schedule: 100% onsite

Contract: 6 months

C2C Rate: $90/hr. C2C

We are currently seeking Oracle HCM Techno/Functional Specialist for Oracle eBusiness Systems, release R12.2.10. ย This person will work effectively under minimal supervision and provide technical/functional support for developing and supporting Oracle related customizations and extensions covering modules in E-Business Suite HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Oracle Time & Labor (OTL), Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Oracle Learning Management (OLM), Compensation Workbench (CWB), Self-Service HR, Workflow and AME). ย This position will support our business users, participate in all relevant change management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require interaction with core business users and the need to work as a team member of a large Oracle support team. ย 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:ย 

โ€ข ย  ย Provides technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules.

โ€ข ย  ย Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.

โ€ข ย  ย Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).

โ€ข ย  ย Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.

โ€ข ย  ย Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and foster business expertise solutions.

โ€ข ย  ย Tracking deliverable and provide reporting to management as needed.

โ€ข ย  ย Willing to travel up to 10%

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

โ€ข ย  ย Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university, or 15 years of related industry or technical experience

is required.

โ€ข ย  ย A bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, MIS or CIS is preferred.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 5 years of experience with the following Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules: HR, Payroll, OTL, Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Absence Management, Workflow is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 3 years of experience with Oracle Learning Management (OLM) and Compensation Workbench (CWB) is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Payroll, Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), and OTL Fast Formula is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 3 years of experience with OTL time entry rules is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 3 years of experience with Absence management is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 2 years of experience with the Oracle Payroll process, pay element and fast formula is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 2 years of experience with HRMS US Year-end W2 process is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Minimum of 5 years of experience with the following Oracle Development Tools: Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, XML Publisher,

Web-ADI, Workflow, and SQL Loader is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience in development, implementations, production support, and upgrades is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite: R12.2 is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience with Oracle RDBMS: 19c running on Linux x86 64 bit is preferred.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience with Oracle Developer 10g (Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, Workflow) is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience with Toad, Sql*Plus, and UNIX is required.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a high paced environment is preferred.

โ€ข ย  ย Experience with Visual Studio GIT/ADO and Flex Deploy tools are preferred but not required.

โ€ข ย  ย Willingness to work toward and achieve management directed goals and objectives.
