Specialised Part-Time Consulting OpportunityWe are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for banking professionals with hands-on Oracle FLEXCUBE expertise across credit, lending, customer records, contract management, and core banking operations.This role supports a research initiative focused on accurately modelling real-world banking workflows in Oracle FLEXCUBE. Selected professionals will analyse customer and contract positions, calculate exposure, distinguish validation activities from booked transactions, assess workflow completeness, and ensure banking decisions and handoffs are fully traceable and auditable.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit & Exposure AnalysisCalculate current customer or facility exposure according to applicable bank credit standardsAssess arrears, available headroom, utilised limits, and overall credit position as of a specified business dateInterpret lending limits, facility structures, and approval thresholdsDetermine whether cases require branch-level approval or escalation to a credit committeeApply the correct policy, limit, and effective-date framework when evaluating exposureOracle FLEXCUBE Contract OperationsNavigate contract inquiry and lifecycle workflows across origination, drawdown, repayment, and releaseReview contract records to determine what has actually been bookedDistinguish validation-only postings from transactions that alter the underlying contractVerify branch lending repayments and other contract activityIdentify incomplete or incorrectly represented transaction historiesCustomer & Relationship RecordsWork with Customer Information File (CIF) structures and relationship hierarchiesReview customer records for completeness and consistencyRecord contact and interaction histories accurately, including partial or transferred casesSet and interpret review dates, follow-up flags, and customer-file actionsDetermine which information is confirmed versus assumed when taking over a workflowProduct & Reference DataInterpret product parameter tables and product configuration within Oracle FLEXCUBEReview General Ledger mappings relevant to banking products and transactionsUnderstand how product configuration constrains permitted transaction behaviourInterpret settlement and correspondent references where relevantIdentify configuration or reference-data issues affecting contract processingCredit Policy & Regulatory ReviewApply internal credit standards and policies to determine current risk positionsMaintain awareness of policy versions, effective dates, and applicable limitsEvaluate cases against the standards in force on the relevant business dateIdentify approval, documentation, or escalation requirementsEnsure conclusions are supported by appropriate banking records and policy criteriaAudit, Handoff & Workflow QualityConfirm that customer and contract records accurately reflect completed actionsDetermine whether outstanding items remain unresolved before a case progressesDocument validations, decisions, assumptions, and open issues clearlyEnsure records are sufficiently complete for the next reviewer or approving committeeReview relevant MIS and reporting screens for exposure and customer-position informationMaintain clear audit trails so outcomes are traceable rather than recorded informallyIdeal Profile2+ years of professional banking experience in banking operations, credit, lending, or a related core-banking functionCurrent or recent hands-on use of Oracle FLEXCUBE at least weeklyStrong familiarity with Oracle FLEXCUBE customer, contract, credit, and transaction workflowsPractical understanding of credit standards, exposure calculations, arrears, limits, and available headroomStrong ability to distinguish validation activity from booked contractual transactionsExperience interpreting CIF structures, facility hierarchies, review dates, and customer relationship recordsFamiliarity with product parameters, GL mapping, settlement references, and core banking configurationStrong understanding of audit trails, operational handoffs, and banking-control requirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related disciplineBanking or credit qualifications such as Chartered Banker, Certified Credit Professional, or comparable credentials are advantageousEquivalent substantial hands-on core banking experience may also be consideredStrong written English and ability to document banking decisions precisely and clearlyEngagement DetailsPart-time independent contractor engagementFully remoteFlexible scheduling based on project requirementsCompensation: $65–$110/hourRegular, recent Oracle FLEXCUBE experience is required for this engagementProjects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performanceWork must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, financial institution, or other third partyH1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagementAbout the PlatformThis opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC.
