Skill: Senior Developer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Strong hands-on experience in C Programming within Unix/Linux environments.
• Extensive expertise in PRO*C development, including Oracle precompiler, embedded SQL, cursor management, and Pro*C/C++ compilation.
• Experience in AIX-to-Linux migration and cross-platform code portability analysis.
• Advanced Python scripting and automation skills for build tooling, migration utilities, validation, and data comparison.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines (or equivalent tools such as Jenkins/Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database integration, SQL optimization, NLS settings, session management, and database validation testing.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, repository governance, and modern source control practices.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, AI agents, developer productivity accelerators, and automation frameworks
Roles & Responsibilities
• Migrate and remediate C/PRO*C applications from AIX to Linux, resolving platform-specific compatibility issues.
• Develop and maintain Python-based build and migration utilities, including deployment manifests, automation scripts, and validation tools.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, packaging, and deployment workflows.

• Evaluate and implement unit testing frameworks (CMocka, CUnit, Unity) and develop automated test suites.
• Perform parity validation between AIX and Linux environments by comparing binaries, outputs, and database results.
• Support Oracle database testing activities, ensuring consistent query execution, session control, and platform validation.
• Create deployment procedures, rollback mechanisms, technical documentation, developer guides, and operational runbooks while ensuring high-quality delivery
