Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skill
1. Good Communication skills
2. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of
• Distribution / Outage Management System (DMS / OMS) Experience
• Electricity Transmission and Distribution business
• System Implementation Lifecycle
• Business Requirements Gathering
• Integration of OMS with other systems
• Geospatial Technology exposure
• Disaster Recovery
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Database administration
• L2 level support
3. Must have knowledge in various modules of OMS/DMS products from different vendors such as Oracle NMS, Oracle OUA/ OMA, OSI Monarch, SIEMENS, GE, and ABB and so on.
4. Experience in design, steady state support, project management and execution of OMS and DMS projects involving integration of more than 100 substations.
Aware of latest industry standards and technology trends.
Roles & Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Work with customers and support existing NMS, OMA, Flex, and OUA applications
• Create customized queries to extract the data and share with client.
• Carry out changes based on change requests and maintain the system during blue sky and storm days.
• Carry out DR / Prod change over
• Carry out regression testing, integration repointing
• gather and develop business and technical requirements while also supporting the development of the customers Technical Specifications , Architecture and design roadmap
• Help translate a wide variety of client needs/requirements into detailed proposals and project plans to meet projects requirements
• Manage, oversee and coordinate all aspects of the project from initial planning through completion of project
• Proactively communicate project requirements and other key aspects on a regular basis through monthly updates and other updates as critical developments occur.
• Manage all interfaces and communication between client and Project Team and business stakeholders;
Ensure clarity of expectations for project deliverables from all project participants whilst identifying potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact
Salary Range $140,000-$160,000Per year
