Job description

Job Summary:
DCCA is a veteran-owned IT business providing innovative solutions to government agencies and commercial enterprises since 1982. They are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Developer to support Oracle E-Business Suite projects, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining applications specifically for the Oracle Financials modules.
Responsibilities:
• Module Development & Support: Design, develop, and maintain customized technical solutions for Oracle Federal Financials modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchasing (PO), and Federal Administrator.
• Database Programming: Write, performance tune, and troubleshoot complex SQL, PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, and triggers.
• System Integration: Develop and maintain interfaces between Oracle EBS and external DoD/DHA boundary systems.
• GUI Forms: Design and Develop customized GUI forms using Oracle APEX & Oracle Application Framework and convert existing Oracle Forms.
• Reporting: Design and Develop customized Reports using Oracle Analytics Publisher and convert exiting Oracle Reports.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure all code and configurations comply with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Information Assurance (IA) policies.
• Troubleshooting: Perform root-cause analysis for production issues and implement code changes in coordination with the DBA team.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical design documents (MD.070, MD.120) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Testing Support: Facilitate and support Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with DHA government stakeholders.
• Technical Support: Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to troubleshoot production issues and provide technical guidance to the Oracle EBS Functional & User teams.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Developer.
• Deep expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle APEX, Oracle Application Framework, Oracle Analytics Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively translate complex technical concepts to non-technical government stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Preferred:
• Experience working in DoD, government contracting, or healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with Code management and Project tracking tools (JIRA, Git Lab, etc.).
• Tecno-functional experience in Oracle Financials modules like GL, AP, AR, PO etc.
