About Us - Operating Room
Freeman Health System s main operating room has nine surgical suites and offers a variety of specialties including gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, cosmetic and neurosurgery.

In this fast-paced procedural area, the staff uses their experience, knowledge, and skills to work as a team to take patient care to the next level of patient safety and satisfaction.

We offer an in-depth individualized orientation process to prepare employees for success in the perioperative setting.

What You'll Do

Provides a safe, clean environment for the patient and personnel of the surgical department by practicing housekeeping responsibilities for environmental sanitation. To provide and assist the staff with safe patient handling, movement, and transfers under the guidance of the registered nurse. Serves as an assistant within the operating room to maintain stocking of supplies, transportation of specimens and blood products, and movement of equipment in and out of the operating room suite.

Requirements

AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
