EMPLOYER: Optum Care, Inc.
JOB TITLE: Data Analyst

LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle., Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Manage and manipulate structured data with a focus on building business intelligence tools; conduct analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends; perform normalization operations and assure data quality; create specifications to bring data into a common structure; create product specifications and models; develop data solutions to support analyses; perform analysis, interpret results, develop actionable insights and present recommendations for use across the company; partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop tools and models such as segmentation, dashboards, data visualizations, decision aids and business case analysis to support the organization; produce and manage the delivery of activity and value analytics to external stakeholders and clients; use business intelligence, data visualization, query, analytic and statistical software to build solutions, perform analysis and interpret data. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and Operations Management or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or related computer occupation.

Experience must include:

MS SQL developer and Power bi developer; 
MS Business intelligence developer; 
ETL tools such as MS SSIS or Visual Studio; 
data visualization tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau; 
healthcare administrative data such as Medicals Claims, Enrollment, or Provider data; 
analytical environment such as data analytics and visualizations, management consulting or information systems 
Analytical and quantitative such as managing and modeling of large data sets; 
CMS regulations and specifications regarding Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment; and 
Solid analytical such as data analysis, statistical analysis, data manipulation, data extraction or reporting.

RATE OF PAY: $119,642.00 per year
