Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities
*    Provide comprehensive outpatient Gastroenterology care to an established patient population
*    Collaboratively manage a panel of new and established patients
*    Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of GI conditions
*    Work closely with Gastroenterologists and fellow Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based care model
*    Practice in an outpatient-only setting with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures, or call
*    Once fully ramped, providers typically see approximately 14-16 patients per day.
 

Schedule & Flexibility
*    Typical schedule of four 10-hour days
*    Full-time schedule includes 36 patient contact hours per week
 

Practice Environment
*    Advanced Practice Providers are fully integrated, supported members of the Gastroenterology care team, with active involvement in clinical decision-making
*    Established outpatient Gastroenterology practice with strong referral demand
*    Highly collegial, collaborative culture that values mentorship and shared learning
*    Experienced physician group with a consistent, team-oriented approach to care
New Advanced Practice Providers receive structured onboarding, including mentorship, coaching, and a gradual ramp-up with experienced providers. The practice is committed to supporting long-term success and professional development and welcomes early-career candidates, particularly those transitioning into Gastroenterology.
 

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
 

Required Qualifications
*    Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
*    National Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC) or Physician Assistant certification (NCCPA)
*    Unrestricted Washington State license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)

Preferred Qualifications
*    Prior outpatient experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
*    Gastroenterology experience
*    Experience with Epic EMR

The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $156,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
