• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of each client pursuing substance use disorder treatment.
• Craft individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailoring therapeutic interventions to further enhance recovery outcomes.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions employing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to engage clients effectively.
• Lead group therapy sessions to create a sense of community among clients, fostering shared experiences that support recovery efforts.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other professionals to coordinate care and enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Provide crisis intervention and support, skillfully managing situations involving substance-related emergencies and ensuring client safety.
• Educate clients and their families about the complexities of addiction, empowering them with information on recovery strategies and community resources available to them.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of treatment interventions and progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards for client confidentiality.
• Participate actively in professional development activities and team discussions to foster personal growth and enhance service delivery.
• Remain informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of substance use disorder treatment to refine intervention strategies continuously.

You will work closely with a diverse range of clients facing addiction challenges, including young adults, seniors, and individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds. Your expertise will facilitate a supportive environment where patients can address the stigma surrounding addiction and engage in their recovery process with courage and hope.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of Washington.
• Demonstrated experience in substance use disorder counseling and a deep commitment to understanding the complexities of addiction.

• Clinical experience specifically in group and individual therapy addressing substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with therapeutic models tailored to addiction recovery, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Experience in crisis intervention and emergency response situations pertinent to mental health and addiction.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
