Riverside Medical Group, part of the Optum family of business, is seeking a patient-centric Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Port Jefferson, New Jersey.  

Position Highlights:

  • Physician-led, patient centered team-based environment.  
  • Providing full spectrum Family/Internal Medicine & Adult Primary Care, focusing on value-based care, and supported by a robust team of specialists.
  • Team based care; Evidence-based Medicine.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage a complete continuum of high-quality care within the care team.  
  • Treat chronic diseases and disorders.  
  • Reviews patient file/record, including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status.  
  • Elicits and records information about patient's medical history.  
  • Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.  
  • Analyzes reports and findings of tests and examination and diagnoses condition of patient.  
  • Oversees and provides collaborative support to Advanced Practice Clinicians.

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process

The salary range for this role is $226,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
