Emplify Health by Gundersen isrecruitingforafellow trained, vitreoretinal surgeontojoin a robust and established practice. The ideal candidate would be interested in surgical and medical retina, complex cataracts and potentially comprehensiveophthalmology.

Shared call is 1:10with nine other board-certified Ophthalmologists on staff.

We are a full-service ophthalmology departmentwithcomprehensive ophthalmologists as well as subspecialists including cornea, glaucoma,retina, pediatrics andoculoplastics.

The Emplify EyeDepartment provides the latest in technology and equipment.We are a well-established,thrivingand collegial group. Since we provide care to large regionalarea, we see a wide variety of pathology in a diverse and friendly patient population.Salary is guaranteed and very competitive. We offer paid CME, loan forgiveness and outstanding retirement benefits.

We ensure state-of-the-art eye care to the citizens of southwest Wisconsin, southeast Minnesotaand northeast Iowa. Our professional eye care team includesoptometrists,certifiedophthalmicand optometric technicians, contact lens specialists, low vision personnel, and on-site opticians.

Completion of an accredited graduate medical training program and fellowship training is required for this role. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
