Job description

Overview Valley Medical Group, part of the Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a Director for our Metabolism and Weight Loss Program. The Director will oversee all aspects of the Valley LifeStart medical weight loss program, coordinate and integrate services across Valley Health System, and lead the strategic vision and direction of the comprehensive medical weight loss program ensuring alignment with the Bariatric Center of Excellence and the organization's mission and goals. Responsibilities Lead a team of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and dieticians to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach to weight management. Provide clinical services as a bariatrician, including screening and follow‐up patients for obesity and related comorbidities, performing body composition & metabolic assessments, counseling on lifestyle changes, and participating in a multidisciplinary team‐based approach. Oversee all aspects of the Valley LifeStart medical weight loss program and coordinate and integrate medical weight loss services across Valley Health System.
