The Strategic Planning Specialist will assist with managing inventory for all business units within SNF Inc.โs scope. They will be responsible for supporting operations by developing and executing integrated plans for material requirements, production schedules, and inventory management. They collaborate closely with various teams such as production, inventory, and procurement to ensure that materials and resources are available to meet production goals.
This role will play a critical part in aligning supply chain activities with business objectives, ensuring optimal resource utilization, and maintaining service level targets. Responsibilities Manage demand planning and inventory levels for multiple product lines through various systems (D365, OMNIS) Assist procurement in identifying material requirements. Utilize strong analytical skills and communicating with stakeholders at all levels around complex situations.
Development and deployment of visual metrics within the group (Power BI, Tableau) Accountable for capacity/utilization planning and alignment with production model. Develop procedures and tools that will allow for more efficient data capture and real time tracking of demand planning and inventory levels. Interpret forecasted demand, assess requirements, and identify solutions to non-standard requests.
Compliance with all policies and standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, manufacturing, product management, scheduling, and logistics teams to forecast demand, balance supply, and proactively identify risks and opportunities within the planning horizon. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: A bachelorโs in science / supply chain or equivalent experience preferred.
1-3 years of strategic planning, scheduling, inventory management, or supply chain activities or operations preferred. Working knowledge of OMNIS/D365 or other MRP planning systems. Proficiency in ERP systems and advance Excel or data analytics tools.
Ability to interface with senior management. Complex critical thinking skills. Effective written and verbal skills.
