Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Optimization Manager to help execute key projects that drive business growth and strengthen client relationships. This role is critical in carrying the CEO’s vision forward by ensuring that initiatives move smoothly from strategy to execution.



What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with the CEO to understand strategic priorities and break them down into actionable project plans.
  • Coordinate and execute business development initiatives, including partnership outreach, proposals, lead follow-ups, and marketing activities.
  • Support client service efforts by tracking deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met, and maintaining high-quality communication with clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal project updates, providing the CEO with clear, concise progress reports.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and escalate issues to the CEO or relevant stakeholders to keep projects on track.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, technology and external partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reports.
  • Identify opportunities for improving processes and efficiency across business development and client services functions.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, business development, client services, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while keeping leadership informed.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) is a plus.
  • Experience in Financial Industry.
