This is an ideal opportunity for someone who understands mortgage pricing, enjoys leading and developing a team, excels at solving technical challenges, and thrives at the intersection of mortgage operations and technology.

This is a fully remote position within a distributed team environment.

What You'll Do

  • Manage, support, and develop a team of three Lock Desk Specialists, providing day-to-day leadership, training, coaching, and performance feedback

  • Support new product launches and pricing enhancements by configuring, testing, and validating system changes
  • Build, maintain, and validate pricing logic using system configuration tools and business rules
  • Analyze pricing data using Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, formulas, lookups, and data validation techniques
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for system updates, releases, and new functionality
  • Create and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, lock desk procedures, and process documentation
  • Collaborate with Secondary Marketing, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to improve workflows, automate processes, and enhance system efficiency
  • Stay current on mortgage pricing technology, investor requirements, and industry best practices
  • Support day-to-day Secondary Market operations

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in Secondary Marketing, mortgage pricing, capital markets, lock desk operations, or mortgage pricing technology
  • Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a lock desk or Secondary Marketing team preferred
  • Hands-on experience administering or configuring Optimal Blue or another mortgage pricing engine, such as Polly, LoanPASS, or Lender Price
  • Strong understanding of mortgage pricing, rate locks, rate sheets, pricing adjustments, loan products, and pricing logic
  • Experience working with mortgage loan origination systems; Encompass experience preferred
