Job description

We're hiring a Dispensing Optician at our Vidor optical practice! If you love helping patients look and see their best, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Fit and dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses per prescription

  • Assist patients with frame selection and take precise measurements

  • Perform adjustments, repairs, and educate patients on lens options

  • Process lab orders and maintain dispensary standards

  • Enter patient and order data accurately into the practice management system

  • Cross-train to assist the front desk team with administrative duties including scheduling, check-in/check-out, and patient records

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of optical or dispensary experience

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Team-oriented with attention to detail
