With more than 100 locations and a network of 150+ experienced optometrists and a plan to continue rapid growth in the coming years, Shopko Optical looks forward to serving our patients and our communities this year.

Shopko Optical has been offering high-quality eye care services and superior products for over 40 years. We currently accept coverage from most major insurance companies.

Shopko Optical places quality patient care above all else. We support our doctors and enable them to build meaningful relationships in the communities they serve. We also provide full ancillary support including screening and patient billing, and we outfit our offices with top-of-the-line equipment including retinal cameras, so our doctors can focus their time on what matters most, providing great patient care.

Minimum Knowledge, Experience & Skills Requirements:

  • OD Degree from ACOE approved College of Optometry
  • State Licensed Optometrist
  • Ability to communicate with customers and teammates

Available locations:

  • Eastern IL Floating Role (Huntley, Crystal Lake, Lakemoore & Antioch)
  • Western IL Floating Role (Freeport, Dixon, Machesney Park & Belvidere)

Must demonstrate Shopko Optical's commitment to provide exceptional patient care through a solution-oriented and flexible customer service approach.

Full-time, part-time, and lease space opportunities are available dependent on location. In the following states Optometrists are not employed, but can rent space from Shopko Optical: IA, ID, SD, MT, WA.
