Summary:
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Electronics and Integration Technician to join our Electrical Engineering team. In this role, you'll perform cable/harness assembly, troubleshooting and systems integration ensuring our systems meet strict performance and workmanship standards.
All applicants must possess or be qualified to obtain a U.S. DoD Personnel Security Clearance. Preference will be given to candidates with an existing U.S. DoD Personnel Security Clearance. Responsibilities:
  • Perform PCB Intake & Validation: Follow test procedures for custom PCBs, document failures, and assist engineers with in-house modifications.
  • Assemble & Update Cables: Build copper and fiber cables for lab setups and system integration; collaborate with engineers to refine cable designs per IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
  • Kit & Track Integration Materials: Intake, label, and kit electronics and cables; maintain material tracking from intake through final system integration.
  • Execute System Integration: Install and route electronics and cables using engineering documentation (block diagrams, CAD); ensure correct placement and connectivity.
  • Support Assembly Validation: Assist engineers in validating sub-assemblies and full system builds to ensure functional and performance compliance.
  • Maintain Lab Equipment: Organize and manage EE lab tools; coordinate with lab manager on equipment calibration and upkeep.

Required Experience / Capability:
  • Demonstrated expertise in cable and harness assembly, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in copper and fiber cable builds, inspection, and system integration.
  • Proven ability to execute PCB intake and testing procedures, document failures, and support engineering-driven modifications.
  • Experience with electronics kitting, labeling, and maintaining traceability throughout integration workflows.
  • Skilled in interpreting and applying engineering documentation including block diagrams and CAD models for accurate installation and routing.
  • Familiarity with validating electronic assemblies and supporting system-level functional checks.
  • Strong organizational skills in managing lab tools, equipment upkeep, and calibration coordination.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 knowledge or certification a plus.
