Job Description

Work under the guidance of an INFICON Electrical Engineer to assess, diagnose, document and organize failed products and PCBAs

Work with Engineering and Quality staff to develop a system to track the flow of reject products and assemblies through the quality system.

Feed back information to the Engineering staff currently developing new and updated test systems

Schematic Interpretation: Reviewing and navigating PCBA schematics to identify signal paths and potential failure points.

Hardware Diagnostics: Utilizing standard EE lab equipment to validate board performance.

Troubleshooting: Identifying component-level failures and documenting findings.

Qualifications

Technical Skills: Experience with standard test tools, including Digital Multimeters (DMMs) and Oscilloscopes. MS Office.

Education: Currently enrolled in a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).

Location: This is an on-site position at our facility at 1475 S Fordham St in Longmont, CO

The expected salary range for this position is between $20-$25/hr. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
