Optic Fibre Installer Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We are seeking all level Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Technician to support the maintenance, installation, and expansion of fiber optic infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring network reliability through fiber testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades of outside plant systems, including underground and aerial cabling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, splice, and repair fiber optic cables and related infrastructure
• Install new fiber routes, conduits, and network hardware
• Conduct site surveys and maintain accurate network documentation
• Troubleshoot signal and connectivity issues to ensure optimal network performance
• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on infrastructure projects
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and company procedures
• Provide technical support during outages and scheduled maintenance activities

Qualifications:

• Experience with fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing
• Knowledge of outside plant infrastructure, including underground and aerial systems
• Ability to read network diagrams and maintain technical documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards

This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, TX.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
