Job description

We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Project Engineer Role. The Project Engineer is responsible for providing manufacturing with engineering support by installing new systems, maintaining and improving existing systems throughout Flexcon. This role is an onsite role.
What will you do in this role?
  • Design components, systems and/or facilities utilizing a computerized drafting system.
  • Work on assigned engineering requests; gather information and make recommendations; obtain quotes; supply specifications for equipment; obtain approval and purchase materials; schedule and supervise project installation; evaluate and monitor completed projects.
  • Update procedures and instructions, as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate files.
  • Document project status in the computer system.
  • Evaluate and review bids from prospective contractors.
  • Issue contracts to contractors.
  • Provide technical assistance to manufacturing personnel.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations; enforce procedures, rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.

What does it take to be successful in this role?
  • 4 year Engineering Degree
  • 3-5 Years web handling/converting background and/or industrial ventilation experience a plus
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
