Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or any other preferred location. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients' mental health status, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and needs.
• Provide individual therapy sessions to adults using teletherapy technology, employing evidence-based and solution-focused approaches for optimal client outcomes.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques when necessary, ensuring immediate and effective responses to clients in distress.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, staying informed of best practices within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses on a diverse range of adult clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a mental health counselor within our organization, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from various backgrounds, embracing a holistic approach to therapy that respects their unique experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Exhibit a compassionate and empathetic demeanor, along with a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage caseloads.
• No history of disciplinary actions on any professional boards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy services or virtual counseling is highly desirable.
• Previous work with diverse populations and knowledge of culturally competent practices is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to facilitate client documentation and management.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
